Review of France wines
1993 vintage : Inky colour. Extremely mature nose. Astonishingly well rounded, full and supple in the mouth. A flattering wine with mellow tannins.
1997 vintage : This characterful wine offers fruity, wild aromas in both nose and mouth.
The hill of wine
1994 vintage : Lovely, slightly garnet-red, brilliant colour. Aromas of small black fruit (blackberry) with a hint of under-wood. Subtle yet marked by fruit in the mouth, with a lightly liquorice-tinged finish. A pleasant, lively wine.
Belgian review of Wines
1995 vintage : A very pronounced ruby-red colour. A fine, immediate nose with floral, fruity notes. A lively, powerful attack developing into a more astringent middle, and a finish still harmonising. To watch out for.
Guide of the Backpacker
1996 vintage : The Merlot accounts for 80 % of the blend of this 96, as attested to be the aromas of black fruit, spices and leather. In the mouth the tannins are supple and mature, evolving towards greater power and length. The slightly bitter finish should soften in the next two or three years.
Wine and cheers
1998 vintage : A lovely crimson colour, brightened up by violet tints. Intense bouquet with a great variety of refined scents: flowers (violet, white lilac), fruit (cherry, raspberry) and spices (green pepper, liquorice). It really comes into its own in the middle of the mouth, after a well-rounded attack. Spicy cumin and pepper flavours followed by leather, blackcurrant and blackberry, are a treat for the palate. A delicate wine to be enjoyed with lamb and mushrooms.

1993 vintage : The colour of this 1993 is intense and brilliant with Bigareau cherry tints. The aromas are fine and concentrated, reminiscent of game. In the mouth the attack is smooth, the tannins mellow and the texture delicate. A wine of great finesse.

2001 vintage : still a very young mouth, dominated by a very present acidity and virile tannins. The flavours of currant and spices appear in finale, in a nervous and refreshing set
